Una delle caratteristiche molto interessante del kickstarter è quella che in inglese viene chiamata “stretch goal”. Ovvero se la raccolta di fondi eccede un certo ammontare vengono aggiunti dei prodotti bonus. Nel caso di Tex, per esempio. Epicenter Comics invierà, a tutti quelli che hanno partecipato, un manifesto di Tex e una serie di segnalibri.

Da segnalare inoltre che esiste un sito molto simile - Indiegogo. Dove adesso c’è una raccolta di fondi per un volume di Zagor (con 2 varianti di copertina).

Dunque Epicenter Comics dopo aver sperimentato Kickstarter ora prova Indiegogo.

Il volume di Tex è stato finanziato raggiungendo 8.288 dollari inviati da 161 sostenitori. Una media semplice di 51 dollari per sostenitore non molto diversa da quella attuale di Zagor che è quasi di 50 dollari.
Si può supporre che per arrivare a 11.000 serviranno più di 200 sostenitori.

Bhe allora informa amici, parenti, e conoscenti.

Kickstarter non permette di cominciare una nuova raccolta fino a quando non sia terminata l’iniziativa precedente.

Indiegogo ha delle regole meno restrittive del Kickstarter, e storicamente parlando, ci sono state più frodi sul indiegogo.

Però io mi fido di Igor (Epicenter Comics). Si è sempre dimostrato serio. Io ho sottoscritto questo:

Oggi ero andato subito ad informare gli zagoriani ma loro già sapevano tutto. Gli zagoriani sanno sempre tutto!

Stavo riflettendo: se un utente compra un volume, paga 17 dollari + 5 di spedizione e riceve un artbook. Se compra due volumi paga 34 dollari + 10 di spedizione e riceve un artbook. Allora se io prima compro un volume e poi ne compro un altro, pago sempre 10 dollari di spedizione ma ricevo due artbook. (*)

(*) Sempre che si raggiunga la quota di 11.000 dollari.

Per questa iniziativa, gli acquisti su indiegogo (che poi sono solo un impegno a comprare), si chiudono in 26 giorni. Se compri un volume e poi un altro non fà differenza. L’artbook verrà spedito in base al nome dell’acquirente non al numero di acquisti o al totale della spesa.

Ha una sua logica, anche se non farà piacere saperlo ad alcuni zagoriani che hanno ordinato più copie. Prima di tutto però si spera di arrivarci a questo artbook! Di solito le campagne si infiammano all'inzio e poi verso la fine, un po' come le aste. Sarà allora che deciderò se partecipare o no.
