Ha iniziato la sua quarantennale carriera alla Filmation e alla Hanna-Barbera, ha poi lavorato per serie a fumetti della Marvel (Conan, Frankenstein, Ghost Rider, ecc..) e per film di animazione di Ralph Bakshi ("The Lord of the Rings", "Wizards" e "Hey Good Lookin'). In campo cinematografico ha collaborato alla realizzazione di vari film in qualità di visual designer, storyboard artist e altri ruoli ("La cosa", "Little Shop of Horrors", ecc..)
